Additional facilities

We are a part of a large complex of health services. This means if you require other services while you are in hospital, they may be available on site. The services most often used by doctors include:

  • Pacific Radiology Group at St George's – provides full radiological services including ultrasound, CAT scan and MRI diagnostic services, these are available as ordered by your doctor
  • Pathology / Laboratory – full pathology diagnostic services can also be ordered by your doctor

Chapel, Chaplain and Kaumātua

Watching a loved one battle an illness, or undergoing treatment of your own, can be one of the most difficult times in your life. We understand you may be feeling anxious or scared, and we are here to provide guidance and comfort.

Our Chapel is available for patients and visitors to seek a quiet and calm space when needed. We also offer the support of our Chaplain who can help guide you through these challenging times.

Our Chapel is located on the third floor of the Hospital.

Our Kaumātua is available to provide support for our patients and whānau.
